Inspired Travel Review

Write for us

We welcome considered pitches that help readers understand a place, a route or the choices that shape a visit. Send proposals through the Contact page, rather than submitting a finished article without an invitation.

What we are looking for

Pitch a clear, original idea within travel literacy: for example, an explanation of how a route or built feature shapes an experience, a useful comparison of ways to explore a place, or a grounded account of a travel custom. Each proposal should have one main question and a distinct reader benefit.

What makes a strong pitch

Tell us the working title, the central idea, the intended reader and the shape of the piece. Explain what makes the subject worth a closer look and how you would handle facts, context and differing perspectives. Keep the proposal focused; a list of broad destinations is less useful than one well-defined angle.

How to send it

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to send your proposal. Include relevant links only where they help explain the pitch, and disclose any relationship that could affect how the subject is presented. A proposal is not a promise of publication.

Our point of view

Travel starts with paying attention

A journey is more than a list of sights. The route between them, the shape of a street and the pace of a pause can change how a place comes into view.
